Glenn Beck's exterminationist talk

Ok. Extermination talk? I haven't heard any of the extermination talk.

OK, Jed Lewison has already provided an example of Beck's eliminationist rhetoric, but I'm going to delve a little deeper into this one below. As you'll see, Beck threatens the lives of liberals on a near daily basis, but even goes so far as to threaten anyone who disagrees with him with nuclear holocaust.

Here's the Beck quote Jed reminds us of:

Beck: Progressivism is the cancer in America and it is eating our Constitution. And it was designed to eat the Constitution. To progress past the Constitution. ......... It is big government – it’s a socialist utopia. And we need to address it as if it is a cancer. It must be cut out of the system because they cannot co-exist. And you don’t cure cancer by – well, I’m just going to give you a little bit of cancer. You must eradicate it. It cannot co-exist.

Beck suggests that Van Jones is an "enemy of God."

Ie, the same thing Hitler and other antisemites said about the Jews in order to dehumanize them.

Beck: These vampires are not going to be satisfied with just sucking the blood out of GM's top guy... Their thirst for power and control is unquenchable. They will not stop. There is only two ways for this movie to end.  Either the economic becomes like a walking dead or you drive a stake through the heart of the blood suckers?"

Beck says Uncle Sam is a "child molester" who's "raping our walets" and "destroying our families." That sounds a bit like Giacomo Babini, the Italian Bishop who is blaming Jews for the child molestation scandal and who said, "Don't believe that Hitler was merely crazy."

Beck: I'm thinking about killing Michael Moore, and I'm wondering if I could kill him myself, or if I would need to hire somebody to do it. ... No, I think I could. I think he could be looking me in the eye, you know, and I could just be choking the life out. Is this wrong? I stopped wearing my What Would Jesus -- band -- Do, and I've lost all sense of right and wrong now. I used to be able to say, 'Yeah, I'd kill Michael Moore,' and then I'd see the little band: What Would Jesus Do? And then I'd realize, 'Oh, you wouldn't kill Michael Moore. Or at least you wouldn't choke him to death.' And you know, well, I'm not sure.

Beck ruminates about poisoning Nancy Pelosi.

Beck threatens Muslims with concentration camps and razor wire.

Beck threatens anyone who attacks us with "vaporization."

Beck threatens the people of Iran with nuclear holocaust, and then goes on to threaten anyone who disagrees with him with the same fate:

"I say we nuke the bastards... In fact, it doesn't have to be Iran, it can be everywhere, anyplace that disagrees with me."

The mother of a man arrested for threatening Nancy Pelosi blames his listening to Fox News and shows like Glenn Beck (specifically his poisoning threat).

How Glenn Beck and Fox News spread the militia Hutaree message.

Beck agrees that he wishes Bush was more like Kim Jong Il and would just "push the button."

Beck threatens the entire Middle East with nuclear holocaust.

Beck admits he doesn't care if Shanghai is destroyed by Global Warming.

Beck tells 7-year old who wrote a poem against white nationalism to go back to Africa.

Beck's guest says he wants the Clintons killed like in the Sopranos. I guess Beck doesn't remember? Yeah, right.

There's no doubt in my mind that Glenn Beck is the closest thing we've had to a Neonazi leader in America in a long long time, and he's by far the most dangerous conservative to have emerged in my lifetime in terms of the violence he's inspiring in American citizens.

His eliminationist rhetoric has already inspired an American Neonazi to murder police officers.

Will Fox News ever pull him off the air for his eliminationist talk? No. The network itself is a rabid supporter of exterminationist rhetoric and the consequences of it.
